Avebury and Levels of Knowing

This weekend I was in Avebury, England which is considered a pagan spiritual location, established by the Druids.  At least this is the information passed on to me from my cousin Louise and her fiancé.  Louise is from Wroughton  which is just outside Avebury.  She has been going to Avebury for many years and find it to be a place of peace and calm and spirituality for herself.  She told me that the stones are set up in the shape of rings; the inner ring is the moon ring and the outer ring is the sun ring.  She showed me the entrance into the rings which are marked by smaller stones set up in a parallel manner.   Louise had tons of information about the stones and their uses.  She explained how the summer solstice is connected to the stones but I cannot remember all the details.  The fact that I can repeat some of this information is good sign of the lowest level of Bloom’s taxonomy, knowledge.  But I certainly could not analyze or evaluate the information she provided to me.
