Time Fly's When Your in Europe
About a month ago I was packing up my suitcase to head over here and now I have about 2 weeks left here! WHAT?? This is ridiculous. I can't believe that this trip is almost over. It has been a lot of fun even with school. It is going to make classes in Raleigh seem horrible. For Assessments and Measurements this week I have been working on creating my test and it has been much harder than I imagined. However, because of it, I have been forced to learn more things about Prague that I wouldn't have if I didn't have this assignment. It really made me focus on the many aspects of culture and history that Prague has to offer. This is like when we visited the communist museum as a class. Most of the time in museums I just scan the pictures and maybe read a few of the informative paragraphs. However when I am asked to create at tests out of this information I pay close attention to the information which the museum is sharing. I learned a lot about communism which I was never taught in schools. Motivation and punishment was the topic of discussion for my Education Psychology class. One example I saw of this happened last night as about 24 of us were walking back from the train station to the pension. A few of us, myself included, realized that the internet wouldn't be working for long once we all got back. We decided to power walk all the way home in order to get internet if only for 10 minutes. Through positive reinforcement, we were able to make it back before the majority of everyone else and enjoyed in the internet for all of 10 minutes.
